About Lalakai Labs
Lalakai Labs builds small, open language models that run on the computers people already own. Private, offline, and free. Our first models, Hunter 4B and Hunter 1.7B, are built for coding and security work on an ordinary laptop. Who it's for: developers and security teams who might not want to send their code or logs to the cloud, or just want to experiment with local models. Our edge: curated training data instead of web scrapes, models designed for 8 (and higher) GB laptops from day one, and a soon-to-come BYOK coding agent we're building for the latest frontier closed and open models.
