About BACKD
BACKD is a public scoreboard for early startups. You list a product. People mark it BACKD or not. You get a public conviction %, comments, and a rank that comes from the crowd, not from who paid this week. I built it because launch sites feel like ads with a comment section. I wanted a page I could send someone and say: don’t be nice, just say if you’d back it. Listing is free. Voting is free. Founders can buy a spotlight for extra visibility. That gets a badge. It does not buy a better rank. No fake density. The index is new. If the idea is bad, the % will say so.
